Children in Scunthorpe were out and about planting trees in the town this morning (Friday, October 27). The event was organised by Ongo as part of their tenth anniversary celebrations and 50 fifty trees have now been planted on Bulls Field in Bottesford.

At the assembly, Mr Brown presented Mr Thomson’s granddaughter Lilly with a posthumous long service award for school governance from North Lincolnshire Council for Mr Thomson. The head said Mr Thomson was involved in the outdoor learning initiative
